Shocking Pink!

I can't stare at this color enough! I LOVE this nail polish! It's called "Shocking Pink" by China Glaze and it's a Neon color that is just gorgeous. It almost glows it's SO neon *Love* Oh and I can't believe it but I finally won something! I entered a twitter giveaway that China Glaze was having and I actually won! And, the prize was amazing :-D I won the entire "Up & Away" collection. Yes, all 12 gorgeous polishes!!!! I LOVE CHINA GLAZE!!!!

28 Weeks Today! :-)

Hey guys! How are you?! Hope everyone is doing great :-) I'm 28 weeks pregnant today....and it just hit me that-that means I'm now 7 months along! Time is running by us sooo quickly, it's surreal. My pregnancy has been really smooth and I'm SO grateful for that. This is the first normal pregnancy that I've ever had. My last two were anything buy normal and were quite stressful. Our son now weighs in at 2 lbs. 9 oz. :-) My little cutie-patootie will be here soon!!!

The other day my husband & I made a bet. A very serious bet. He bet me that the baby is going to weigh 8 lbs. or more and I bet him that he would weight 7 lbs. or more, but not 8 (at birth). What was the wager, you ask? Well, if I win, I get to go on a huge shopping spree after I lose the weight I want to lose. If he wins, I am banned from buying clothes, makeup, shoes, accessories...pretty much anything beauty related for an entire year! My intuition tells me that I'm gonna win, but if I don't then.......let's just keep it positive and say I'm gonna win, lol :-p

Other than being pregnant, I've just been taking care of my family, trying to keep up with them actually, lol. And, trying to keep up with my home, making sure it's nice and clean and what not. My husband has been THE best. On his days off he takes care of the girls, makes me breakfast in bed, & lets me sleep in as long as I need to. It's a really great feeling to be surrounded by real love. That's about all I have for you guys as far as updates go! Everything's been great :-)

Up Late, Thinkin'....

Hi Loves! Before I say anything else, let me FIRST thank all of my new followers! And, of course I must thank my loyal followers that have been here since day one. I really appreciate all of you & I'm happy you find my blog worthy of following :-) So, with that said. This entry is basically about life. I was just watching an episode of MTV's "True Life." The topic was about young adults "coming out" to their family about being homosexual. Since I am a parent, it really got me to thinking about life and things that I may have to face in life. There were some parents that completely disowned their kids over the fact that they were gay. I mean, they kicked them out of their house and didn't speak to them for years. Now, I don't know if I'm crazy or what, but there is NO way I could ever EVER disown my child over them being gay. In fact, that sounds completely insane to me. Not having a relationship with my babies would kill me. Then there were others that treated the kids as if they had some disease and it was something they would just have to deal with. It's baffling that in the year 2010, these issues and mind frames still exist. It's as crazy as racism, almost like another form of it. So, as I was thinking about my life as a parent, I put myself in their situation and imagined my babies in that situation. I can honestly say that I would love them just the same. As long as they fall in love with a good person that has great intentions and is an overall great addition to their life, then I'm just fine. Why is it so hard for people to understand my way of thinking? I feel so bad for all the kids in the world that become disowned, teased, assualted, and depressed over this. It's not fair at all. Well, I was just thinking about this so I thought I'd share. If any of you have anything to add or if you just want to say hi, please do so :-) And, thanks again for becoming a blog buddy :-)

The mail came today.....

Hi Loves :-) How was your Monday? I hope yours was better than mine, lol. I'm in a pretty frustrated mood at the moment which is why I haven't made a youtube vid today. I was planning on making one showing all the great stuff I got in the mail. Maybe I still will. We shall see. Anyways, I ordered from 8ty8Beauty on January 12th and received it today, January 18th. Everything came packaged nicely and nothing was damaged. I didn't realized how many pinks I got out of the 12 China Glaze polishes I bought, lol. But, they are all slightly different pinks so it's ok :-)

I also ordered what I thought was a WALL nail polish rack but ended up ordering the table display >:-/ I will try to call them tomorrow to see if an exchange is possible. Hopefully they're reasonable. Here is my entire nail polish collection on the mentioned table display.

I also ordered some things from Mario Badescu on the same day and received them today aswell. I didn't get much this time around. Just a body lotion and body soap with the 3 samples you always get with every order. I'm so excited to try these out because I have Keratosis Pilaris on my upper arms. It has gotten much better over the past years but I think it can still improve. I read great reviews on the lotion and soap I ordered so I'm hopeful :-)

More Storage Ideas!

How could I almost forget! I bought these great earring holders from Ebay and I LOVE them! I had to share this with you guys cuz I know a lot of woman out there struggle with organizing their ever growing jewelry :-) So here ya go!

They're pretty easy to install if you know how to use a drill and they come with the nails you need. If you don't want to drill them on the wall, you can use the enclosed stands to set it up on your dresser, etc. Here's the ebay store I bought them from for $14.99. Hope this helps you out :-)

Makeup Storage!

I hope everyone's Christmas & New Years was the best! I missed you guys :-) So, like I've previously mentioned, I have barely been wearing any makeup lately so that's why I haven't posted new YT vids. However, it was driving me crazy that all my makeup was just stored in my makeup case. I always had to jumble through it to get what I needed no matter how I organized it in there. I couldn't take it anymore so I FINALLY decided to do something about it, lol. I ended up buying this for my bathroom, since the only real drawback to our house is small bathrooms:-(

I'm SOOO happy with the results! It makes it a million times easier to do anything with my makeup. Maybe this will spark some new looks! I'm already feeling an itch to wear makeup again, lol. We now have one of these cabinets in all 3 of our bathrooms so I'm pretty excited about that. I'm also really excited about my doctor's appointment on Jan 7th!!! I am DYING to know wether I'm having a boy or girl. & I'm almost 17 weeks so they should def. be able to see what it is by now. Hopefully my ultrasound will be scheduled asap. That's pretty much it for now, guys so I'll holla @ cha in a bit! Loves ya!!!

13 Weeks & Counting!

Hey Loves! It's been another while since my last post, I haven't even turned my laptop on in like a week,Lol. I hope all is well with everyone :-) I had a doctor's appointment today that went well & I'm now 13 weeks pregnant! We're so excited & hoping that on Dec. 16th's ultrasound, we'll be able to see the baby's gender! *crossing fingers*We want our lil' boy!!! That's about all the exciting news with that, so far so good :-) I'm starting to show a lil bit which is kinda freakin me out(not ina bad way,lol) because I didn't show till I was 6 months with my 2 daughters. We shall see how big I get this time around. Hopefully it won't be too hard to lose all the weight & get back to my normal weight of 145 lbs. (I'm 5'7 w/curves that I love!) & my 26 inch waist. I haven't seen my normal weight since having my 2nd daughter cuz we were planning to get prego shortly after her arrival. Back then my goal was to get to a 24 inch waist, those last 2 inches were stubborn,lol. We'll see how it goes this time around. I'll more than likely take you guys for the ride!

I'm sorry for the lack of youtube vids lately. I honestly have probably worn makeup like 2-3 times over the last few months. I go through these phases where I lose interest in a lot of the materialistic things in life. Makeup is beautiful & it's art, but I really enjoy natural, unaltered beauty as well. So, yeah, it's just been eye cream, moisturizer, & clear eyebrow gel for me these days, lol. I'll be makin' a vid for you all soon, but am unsure of what it will be about. I hope you all are having a beautiful Christmas season & I hope you all get a chance to decorate! It really adds to the wonder of Christmas & makes me feel great when I do :-) I'll talk to you all soon! :-) MMMUUUAAAHHHHH!!!!!!!

Today was THE BIG DAY!...well, 1 of them, lol

Hi Loves! How are you guys? I hope everyone is feelin' happy on this beautiful Tuesday evening :-) We just got home from my doctor's appointment & from a lil' grocery shopping. My appointment went GREAT! Turns out I'm 8 & 1/2 weeks pregnant!!!!! Which is pretty crazy considering I took 4 pregnancy tests at home and they were all negative back in the end of September. And, they tested me at my doctor's appointment back on Oct. 7th & that one was negative as well. I kept telling my family & my doctor that I felt pregnant (I've had 2 children already, I kinda know my body by now,lol). My husband believed me but no one else did. Well, there it is! 8 & 1/2 weeks pregnant and counting!!! We were hoping for twins, but there was only 1 lil peanut in there, lol. With a very strong heartbeat, might I add :-) Overall my appointment went great, the nurse said that everything looked perfect, including the baby :-) We're so excited! This is our first planned pregnancy! Oh and FYI, the pregnancy tests that are sold @ the $0.99 Store are THE EXACT SAME ONES that are used at your doctor's office. How do I know this, you ask? Cause my doctor and my nurses told me. So, don't waste $10-$20 of your hard earned money on a pregnancy test @ Wal*Mart & etc. Just head on over to the Dollar Store and your good to go! I do suggest that you always always always buy more than one test so that your certain. My case is a very rare one & it's never happened to me before.
